Our primary reason for collecting personal data is to process your orders for goods from our site and provide you with the most efficient service possible.

3. What personal data do we collect
When you contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ link on the site or email us we will collect personal data from you in the form of your name and email address. These data are stored and used only for contacting you about Pye Tait Ltd., Channel 12 and/or your comments and queries. They are not shared with parties outside the Pye Tait and its subsidiaries or sold for mass emailing purposes.
Personal information may also be obtained automatically by your internet browser or by telephone recording by us during calls you make to our offices.
When you place an order through the website for goods and/or services we collect data including your name and billing address, your delivery address, email address, telephone number, credit or debit card number and CVC code.
4. How personal data are used
We use your personal data to process your order for the purchase of goods from the site subject to the terms and conditions of the site and to deal with general queries you raise from time to time through the “Contact Us” link on the site. This includes processes payment made by Users.
We also use your personal data for the general administration of Users records, the general maintenance of our database and records, for security purposes to protect your personal data held and/or processed by us, for training our employees in respect of providing our service to you, in order to maintain records of payments made by Users, for general marketing purposes.

5. How we handle credit/debit card data
When you purchase goods and/or services from Channel 12 we collect and use your credit/debit card number, dates of start and expiry, the full name on the card and the card's CVC number (the security code on the back of the card or the four digit code on the front of an American Express card.
Your card data are kept ONLY for as long as it takes us to confirm that the payment has been authorised and passed into our account.
As soon as this has been confirmed, the good despatched or the services delivered, we delete your credit/debit card details from our systems.
We do not store credit/debit card data.
6. Access to your personal data
The following persons have access to your personal data: our internal data processors and relevant staff, and the company that handles the credit/debit card payments. Please note that this company has its own website and privacy policies and you should familiarise yourself with that company's terms and conditions and privacy policy.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to object to your personal data being used for ‘direct marketing’ and/or ‘host mailing’ purposes.
Please note that no credit/debit card data are stored by us after the payment has been confirmed - all such information is securely deleted.
You have the right under the DPA to request from us information as to what personal data we are processing about you. Such requests should be made via email or via the “Contact Us” link and should be accompanied by a £20.00 handling fee. We will provide you with the relevant information within 40 working days of receipt and clearance of the said fee.
8. Maintenance of personal data
We are committed to the security of your personal data. All of our employees with access to your personal data and/or are associated with the processing of that data are contractually obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.
We have implemented technology measures and security policies to protect the personal data that we have in our control from unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction or accidental loss.

This Privacy Policy only applies to the collection and use of your personal data provided to us and not to personal data you may provide directly to third parties. Any third parties will have their own policies in respect of processing personal data you provide to them and/or your personal data that we may disclose to them in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
